Vaani Kapoor on dancing with Hrithik Roshan in Ghungroo: Honestly, I was very nervous

Vaani Kapoor will be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in the upcoming film War. The makers had released the trailer a few weeks ago and then they released the first song of the film titled Ghungroo. The track features Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor, and both the actors have danced wonderfully in the song.

Recently, we met Vaani and spoke to her about her experience of dancing with Hrithik. When asked her how much nervous she was to shake a leg with the actor, Vaani said, “Honestly, I was very nervous. It would be delusional to think that I can dance as good as him, so I clearly don’t. But I got only one step to do with him, the groovy step (hook step) that we did, and he is like ‘just have fun, don’t overthink, just calm down and have fun’. So, I am having fun and cut to when I look at the screen, I am like he is not having fun, he is doing it right and I am the one who is having fun (laughs). But jokes apart it was a lot of fun.”

Ghungroo has received a great response and Vaani’s solo act in it is being praised a lot. Recently, the makers released the making video of the song in which we can see that Vaani really had a tough time while preparing for the song.

While talking about it, the actress said, “It was really tough, the making shows it. I had injured the heel of my foot, and I had to bandage it for about two months. There were times when I was tripping from the Cyr wheel and my foot kept coming under the wheel. I lost a nail to it. So, it was excruciatingly painful, but I am also happy.”

Directed by Siddharth Anand, War also stars Tiger Shroff. The film is slated to hit the screens on 2nd October 2019.
