Uri trailer to be unveiled on 5th December

The theatrical trailer of the much-awaited movie URI: The Surgical Strike will be out on 5th December, 2018. Starring immensely talented Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, the film is based on Indian Army’s surgical strikes on terror launch-pads across Line of Control (LoC) on September 29, 2016, in response to an attack by Pakistani terrorists at the 12 Infantry Brigade headquarters in Uri.

The makers of the movie, along with the principal cast, posted a teaser video on Twitter to announce the trailer release date of the film. The teaser of the movie was unveiled a couple of months ago, which had received positive response from the audience. Now, the makers are expecting the same kind of response to the trailer and then the film.


Besides Vicky Kaushal, URI: The Surgical Strike also stars Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in an important role. Pink (2016) fame actress Kirti Kulhari also plays a crucial part in the movie.

Produced by RSVP movies and directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie is scheduled to release on 11th January, 2019.
