A 16-year-old boy has been sentenced to four years’ imprisonment over the killing of a shopkeeper who refused to sell him cigarette paper because he was underage. Vijaykumar Patel sustained a fatal head injury in the unprovoked attack by the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, outside a mini-market in Mill Hill, north London, in January.
