Sushant Singh Rajput's rugged look from Sonchiriya out

Sushant Singh Rajput is one of the most hard-working actors in Bollywood. He can go to any length to get into the skin of his character and always delivers a performance that looks unbelievably convincing on celluloid. If Sushant's look from his upcoming film, Sonchiriya, is anything to go by, the actor seems to have done the same once again.

The actor, who was last seen in Raabta, is set to impress the audience all over again with his forthcoming movie, Sonchiriya. Well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the first look of the actor in his dacoit avatar. In the picture, Sushant is seen sporting a shabby look with messy hair and ungroomed moustache.

“Sushant is playing a dacoit for the first time and wanted to get into the character before the schedule starts so he will leave for the location on January 12 to spend time with a few former dacoits. He will also lose some muscle weight to look the rustic part as well as learn rifle-shooting,” reveals a source.

Set in the 1970s, Sonchiriya revolves around a band of dacoits living in Chambal in that era. Bhumi Pedkenar plays the female lead in the film. Besides Sushant and Bhumi, the movie also has Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in the cast.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, Sonchiriya is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
