Sushant Singh Rajput to topline Rifleman

Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, who is on cloud nine after the success of his recent release Kedarnath (2018), has announced his next film. Titled Rifleman, the movie tells the story of an Indian soldier played by the actor.

Sushant Singh Rajput announced his new project yesterday, on the occasion of 71st Army Day. Apart from announcing the project, he also unveiled the first motion poster of the movie.


The actor shared the motion poster on Instagram and captioned it as, “An advancing enemy. A border to protect. One Braveheart. RIFLEMAN. On the occasion of Army Day, excited to announce my next film. @indianarmy.adgpi The film is produced by @abundantiaent & @pooja_ent."

After sharing the poster on Instagram, Sushant also took to micro-blogging site Twitter and shared the same poster.

Rifleman is jointly produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Pooja Films. It is scheduled for a release this year.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput is presently shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s next directorial venture, Chhichhore. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead.
