Sunil Grover joins the cast of Bharat

Actor-comedian Sunil Grover, who rose to fame after playing Gutthi and Dr Mashhoor Gulati in popular comedy shows Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show respectively, is on a roll. The ace comedian launched his new show Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan a couple of days back. Right after launching the show, he signed a film with celebrated filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. And now, the news is coming in that he has bagged a prominent part in Salman Khan's upcoming film, Bharat. Yes, Sunil will play an important role in one of the biggest films of 2019.

“Sunil Grover will be playing Salman Khan’s friend in Bharat. His role is not like how in other films where comedians are used for a couple of comic punches and then they disappear. He has an interesting role in the film," reveals a source.

Bharat is a joint venture between Salman Khan's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar. The movie is based on South Korean film Ode To My Father. Besides Salman Khan, the big-ticket movie also features Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.

Bharat is scheduled to enter cinemas on Eid, next year.
