Sonu Sood’s book I Am No Messiah will be out in December

We all know that during the lockdown, Sonu Sood helped many people to reach their homes in different parts of India. The actor gained a lot of respect for it and people started calling him a messiah.


Well, it was said that Sonu will be penning an autobiography in which he will write about his experiences during the pandemic. And today, the actor took to Twitter to announce that his book titled I Am No Messiah will be out in December.

He tweeted, “Delighted to announce that my book #IAmNoMessiah will be out in December. This is a story of my life, as much as it is of the thousands of migrant workers. @PenguinIndia @Meena_Iyer Pre-order in English: https://bit.ly/IAmNoMessiah and Hindi: https://bit.ly/IAmNoMessiah_Hindi.”

The book, which is co-written by Meena Iyer, will be published by Penguin Books.

While talking about the book, Sonu stated, "People have been very kind and have lovingly named me Messiah. But I really do believe that I am no Messiah. I simply do what my heart tells me to. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and help each other."

Talking about the actor’s movies, Sonu will next be seen in YRF’s Prithviraj which also stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Manushi Chillar.
