Sonakshi shoots the final schedule of Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns in Bangkok

Riding high on the success of her last release Ittefaq, Sonakshi Sinha is now gearing up for her next film Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns. The comic-caper is a sequel to the 2016 film Happy Bhag Jayegi which was a box office success.

Sonakshi is currently in Bangkok to shoot for the last schedule of the film. On Sunday, the actress took to Twitter to share a photograph from the sets. "Swadeekha (Welcome). In Bangkok for the final schedule of 'Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns'! Looking forward to a whole month of work and play,” she captioned the image.


Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns also stars Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles. All these actors also appeared in its predecessor Happy Bhag Jayegi.

Besides Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns, Sonakshi Sinha will also be seen in Bang Bang In New York. The film also features Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role.

A song shaped by reflection rather than intention

For Dhee, Vari Vari was not born out of a deliberate attempt to move in a new direction. Instead, it arrived during a period of reflection that naturally began influencing the music she was making. Speaking exclusively, the singer described how many of her recent songs have mirrored experiences unfolding in her own life, making them feel more personal than planned.

That emotional undercurrent eventually found its way into Vari Vari. Conversations with lyricist Vivek (Vivek Anna) slowly shaped the track, which grew from discussions around love and human connection. Rather than following a formula, the song evolved organically and became a reflection of thoughts she had already been carrying.
