Shivin Narang injured on the sets of Beyhadh 2

Beyhadh 2, the second season of Sony Entertainment Television’s popular thriller series Beyhadh, hit the small screen on 2nd December and registered an impressive entry on TRP charts. Thanks to its gripping storyline, stellar cast and rich performances, the show has been arresting a lot of viewers’ attention ever since its grand premiere.

While Jennifer Winget is reprising her devilish character of Maya, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry play male leads on the second season of the show. One of the leading men of the show, Shivin Narang, recently had a narrow escape on the sets.

Her first scene with Jennifer was being filmed around an under-construction site. While shooting, Jennifer had the harness and other safety measurement on. She was in the lift used by construction workers. The lift lost control and rolled down from the top floor. Jennifer’s harness got stuck in the lift and she was getting dragged with it when Shivin Narang came to her rescue and saved her from falling. Despite getting injury in the process on his hand, the actor continued to shoot.

When asked about the incident, Shivin shared, “Our first shoot together was an outdoor shoot at a construction site and I was quite excited. The sequence was one where Jennifer was supposed to be in a lift. While performing such stunt sequences, the production takes utmost care of the artists and even Jennifer had her harness and other safety gear on but unfortunately her harness got stuck and she was about to get dragged with the lift from top floor when I instantly reached out for her and grabbed her. In the course of saving her, I injured myself and my hand got hurt and she got a few bruises here and there and both of us were terrified.”
