Shahid Kapoor in talks with Vishal Bhardwaj for their fourth film

With movies like Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon to their credit, Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are planning to join hands again for their fourth outing. Yes, according to some sources, the duo is all set to collaborate on a movie which might be based on a Shakespeare novel.

Not just Shahid Kapoor, Bhardwaj is also in talks with actress Sanya Malhotra to play the female lead in the untitled film. As per a source, the Dangal girl is still considering the offer and has not signed anything on the dotted line as yet.


“Recently, Sanya Malhotra had met Vishal in his office. The meeting was a prolonged one, as Vishal was giving her a short narration of her character and the story. Sanya has okayed the offer, but she is yet to sign on the dotted line," said the source.

Interestingly, Sanya is already doing a film with Bhardwaj. Titled Chhuriyaan, the movie also features popular television actress, Radhika Madan. It revolves around two girls and showcases their life before and after marriage.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
