Shaheer Sheikh gears up for a new show

Considered to be one of the biggest stars on Indian television, actor Shaheer Sheikh will soon make his grand return to the small screen. Reportedly, the actor has signed a new show, which will be produced by well-known producer Yash Patnaik.

The actor, who was last seen in the popular TV series Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, will play an intense lover on his next show. According to a source, the soap will be set against the backdrop of Jhansi.

“It is an intense love story, which will be about giving love another chance. Shaheer fits the part to the T. The first schedule will be shot in Jhansi, as that is where the story is set,” reveals a source.

When Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi went off-air a couple of months back, fans went crazy as they wanted Shaheer to return soon. Some reports also claimed that seeing the huge popularity of the star, makers of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi thought to roll out the next season of the series as soon as possible. Reportedly, the yet-to-be-titled show will be directed by Saket Chaudhary, who has helmed the Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starring successful film, Hindi Medium.
