Shah Rukh Khan says he will have a release in 2020

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the big screen in Zero which unfortunately didn’t do well at the box office. Fans of the actor have been waiting to know which will be his next film, but SRK is yet to officially announce his next project. There were reports that Shah Rukh Khan would be announcing his next project on his birthday, 2nd November. However, that didn’t happen.

On his birthday, during an interaction with the fans and media, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that he is taking time to decide on his next but it will be something special. He said he will make an announcement in a couple of months when the movie will go on the floors. While he didn’t have a release this year, SRK promised that he will be having a release in 2020.


Shah Rukh Khan posted a video on Instagram from the event. He captioned the video as, “Thank you all for making my birthday so special. Love you always…”

In the last few months, we have heard numerous reports about Shah Rukh Khan starring in different films. It was said that he will be seen in Don 3. Then there were reports about the actor replacing Salman Khan in Inshallah or starring in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial titled Izhar. It was also said that he would collaborate with Shankar (2.0 director) for sci-fi and last we heard was that he will be seen in a movie titled Sanki which will be directed by South director Atlee.

Well, we now eagerly wait to know which will be Shah Rukh Khan’s next film.
