Sanjay Dutt Biopic to get postponed yet again

2018 is going to offer an interesting mix of films to moviegoers. From sequels to biopics, Bollywood has almost everything on its platter to entertain us. Though the audience is going to watch many biopics in 2018, the one which is the most anticipated one amongst all is superstar Sanjay Dutt's untitled biopic.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the film is being helmed by acclaimed Rajkumar Hirani. Earlier, it was slated to release in 2017 but was deferred to 30th March 2018 for various reasons. The latest we hear that it might get postponed yet again as a significant amount of work is still pending for completion.

"The movie is not yet ready. It is confirmed that the release date of the Dutt biopic will be postponed. It is yet to be determined whether it will postpone to April 27, 2018, or August 15, 2018."

We are sure that this news might disappoint many film enthusiasts across the world, who have been waiting to see Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt ever since the project was announced in 2016. Looks like they will have to wait a little longer for the film.

The biopic also stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Tabu, Karishma Tanna, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Jim Sarbh and Vicky Kaushal in important roles.

It is a Vidhu Vinod Chopra production.
