Rohit Shetty in talks with Akshay Kumar for his next

Rohit Shetty, one of the most successful filmmakers in Bollywood, is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Simmba. Starring Ranveer Singh and newcomer Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, the movie has created great pre-release buzz among the audience and is expected to open really big upon its theatrical release on 28th December.

While Simmba is still ten days away from its release and the entire team is going all out to promote the action entertainer, Shetty has already started planning for his next directorial venture. And if reports are true, the master filmmaker is in talks with superstar Akshay Kumar for his next project.

When Rohit Shetty was asked about the same, he confirmed the news. The director said, “I won’t deny that I am in talks with Akshay for a film, but we are yet to complete the formalities. I will be directing the film, but there is still some time for it. We have just had two meetings so far.”

Rohit and Akshay have never worked together before. So, it will be interesting to see what new they bring to the table.

Meanwhile, Khiladi Kumar is busy with his forthcoming ventures. He will next be seen in period drama Kesari followed by space odyssey film Mission Mangal and comic-caper Housefull 4. The actor is also doing Karan Johar’s Good News.
