Rithvik Dhanjani to play a pivotal part in Satte Pe Satta remake?

Believe it or not but every Hindi film enthusiast is curious to know about the casting of filmmaker Farah Khan’s next film. According to reports, Khan is remaking the cult Hindi film Satte Pe Satta (1982) which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in lead roles. She will direct it for Rohit Shetty’s production house Rohit Shetty Picturez. Buzz has it that Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma have been roped in to play lead roles in the flick.

The latest rumour suggests that a number of television actors will be joining Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma on the cast of the remake. It was earlier reported that Nakuul Mehta, who is known for his popular show Ishqbaaaz, was in talks to play one of the brothers of the male lead in the film. And now, the news is coming in that well-known television actor and host Rithvik Dhanjani may also come onboard to play one of the brothers in the remake.

“Rithvik Dhanjani has bagged the role of one of the brothers in the remake. Not just him, Maniesh Paul and Nakuul Mehta have respectively got themselves a pivotal role in the movie. The movie is currently in the pre-production stage and will on floors in December this year,” a source close to the development reveals to an entertainment portal.

As per reports, the remake is in the pre-production stage at the moment. The team is planning to make an official announcement on Diwali. If Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma are indeed a part of the cast, the film will mark their first onscreen collaboration. More details are awaited.
