Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru: There are two Naina songs in Dabangg 3, and both are done by us

Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru have directed many famous music videos. Their recently released song Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi featuring Divya Khosla Kumar is a chartbuster. They have also directed many songs in Salman Khan’s movies like Dabangg, Dabangg 2, Jai Ho, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

We recently met the director duo and asked them if they have directed any song in Dabangg 3, to which they said, “Yes, we have done two songs. So we have this big continuity with Salman. We have done Tere Mast Mast Do Nain (Dabangg), we have done Dagabaaz Nain (Dabangg 3), and so I am sure that another Naina song is coming. We have a Naina trilogy coming. There are two Naina songs in Dabangg 3, and both are done by us.” When probed if one with Sonakshi Sinha and one with Saiee Manjrekar, they said, “Yes, one with Sonakshi, and one with Saiee.”

The director duo had announced a film last year titled Afghan which was supposed to star Adnan Sami in the lead role. When we asked about what’s the update on the film, they said, “Afghan is there in the pipeline. But now, we are doing a film with Bhushan ji (Bhushan Kumar), it’s a musical. So, that’s where our priority is right now and we are working on it.” When probed about the casting of the film, they said, “It is going on, it’s in the pre-production stage.”

The two Naina songs in Dabangg 3 are Naina Lade Ke and Habibi Ke Nain. The audio of both the songs have been released, but we are yet to see the video of it.

Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 is slated to release on 20th December 2019.
