After quitting the show in May, Aly Goni returns to Yeh Hai Mohabbatein!

One of the most popular stars on Indian television, Aly Goni shot to fame after playing Romi Bhalla in the Ekta Kapoor produced daily soap, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Before venturing into acting, he had appeared on the popular MTV reality show, Splitsvilla.

After working in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein show for over four years and building a huge fan base, the actor decided to explore other opportunities and quit YHM in May this year. But now, he is making a comeback to the show with a bang.


Confirming the news, Goni says, “Yes, I’m coming back for my fans and it feels really good when people want you back in a show. These days, actors are easily getting replaced in shows and here I am coming back for my fans.”

According to reports, the actor, who was recently seen in a negative cameo in Star Plus' another show Dhhai Kilo Prem, has already started shooting for the show and his entry will be shown soon.

His entry in the show has made his fans really happy. Pranati Sharma, a college student, says she will start watching the show again. “I had almost stopped watching the show regularly after he (Aly) left it in May. But since he is making a comeback, I am going to start watching it again just for him.”

The studio is launching two newcomers in Bollywood after what’s being called its largest-ever talent hunt, which spanned more than 500 auditions from across India. The aim, insiders say, is to find raw, authentic performers, not familiar surnames.
