Priyanka Chopra to quit Quantico for Salman Khan's Bharat?

It’s been a long time that Priyanka Chopra hasn’t announced her next Bollywood film. According to reports in a leading Indian daily, there is a possibility that the actress will be doing Salman Khan starrer Bharat. A source said to the leading Indian daily, "Priyanka has also worked with Ali in Gunday (2014) and shares a good rapport with him. This film will see the three of them collaborate for the first time. Priyanka was quite taken by the script of Bharat. What also added to her excitement was that it would give her the chance to team up with Salman after a decade. But she's not signed on the dotted line yet."

Adding further, the source revealed that Priyanka might have to quit Quantico if she gives a nod to Bharat. "Priyanka feels the show will lose steam if they continue with more seasons. Before pursuing any more international offers, she wants to do a Hindi film. Any clarity on Quantico's next season will only come after the third season has been aired. She won't say no to them if the next season is sanctioned, but she fears being repetitive," the source continued.

Priyanka had starred with Salman Khan previously in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love (2007) and God Tussi Great Ho (2008).

The director of the Bharat, Ali Abbas Zafar had earlier spoken about Bharat by stating, "Since the story spans over a period of 70 years, there will be many historical references. It is essentially about a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. We are currently working on the film’s pre-production and details will be announced once we are in a position to talk about them."

Bharat is scheduled to release on Eid in 2019.
