Not Taapsee but Kriti Sanon to star in The Invisible Guest remake!

We have recently reported about John Abraham producing the Hindi remake of the successful Spanish film The Invisible Guest (2016). Initially, it was being reported that Taapsee Pannu, who last appeared in the hit film Naam Shabana (2017), might star in the thriller, but if latest reports are to be believed, the plum project has now gone to Kriti Sanon.

However, no official confirmation has been made about the same, industry insiders are sure that Taapsee has been replaced by Kriti in the film which stars John Abraham as the male lead. On the other hand, a certain section of the media also says that since Taapsee had not signed the project on the dotted lines, reports of her being replaced by Kriti doesn't make any sense.

According to an industry insider, Taapsee was just in talks for the film; she was not finalized. But the makers recently saw Bareilly Ki Barfi which stars Kriti Sanon as the female lead. Everyone so impressed with her performance that they decided to rope in the actress for the role.

If all goes well, the yet-to-be-titled film, which will be directed by debutant Lakshya, will hit floors at the end of the year.
