SWITZERLAND on Tuesday (31) named former chief of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Lalit Modi and his wife Minal as among those being sought by Indian authorities. In two separate notifications issued on Tuesday on “assist- ance” matters, the Swiss Feder- al Tax Administration (FTA) also gave Modi and his wife 10 days for the “exercise of the right to be heard”. Without divulging further details, the FTA notifications in Berne asked the couple to choose an authorised person in Switzerland within 10 days to receive notifications.
