Katrina to undergo rigorous training for Tiger Zinda Hai

Director Ali Abbas Zafar says Katrina Kaif will be undergoing an extensive combat training to perform stunts in his next Tiger Zinda Hai.

The forthcoming project is a sequel to 2012 superhit Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan and produced under Yash Raj Films.

The Tiger series centers on a fictional character of an Indian spy (RAW), code named Tiger (Salman) who falls in love with a Pakistani spy (ISI), played by Katrina.

"Katrina will be going through a rigorous training programme in hand-to-hand fighting along with Kali knife fighting with specialised trainers from the UK and LA," Zafar said in a statement here.

The Bang Bang actress, who is currently shooting for a musical song for her next Jagga Jasoos, will start her training from April 20.

She will shoot for some high-octane action sequences along with Salman Khan at a studio in Mumbai and other foreign locations.

Charli XCX has gone beyond the glitz to expose the sexism female pop stars still face. In a candid essay, she said that no matter what a woman does in pop music, someone will label it the wrong way. Sexy becomes “whore,” rebellious becomes “drug addict,” smart becomes “pretentious.” Her reflections also touch on the hidden side of touring life, showing that fame isn’t just lights and parties, it’s long waits, chaotic travel, and constant scrutiny.
