Katrina Kaif to star in a horror movie titled Phonebhoot?

Katrina Kaif has been in the industry for the past 16 years. She has been a part of romantic films, thrillers, action flicks, comedies, and rom-coms. But well, there’s one genre the actress is yet to explore. We are talking about the horror genre.

However, according to a report in a daily, Katrina will be starring in a horror film titled Phonebhoot. The movie is said to be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and directed by Gurmeet Singh.


Reportedly, the movie will also star Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. Well, if this report turns out to be true, it will surely be interesting to watch Katrina in a horror movie. The actress has worked with Excel Entertainment earlier in Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara.

Currently, the actress is busy with the shooting of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role. We will get to see Akshay and Katrina on the big screen after a gap of a decade. Well, it is not yet officially announced that which will be Katrina’s next film after Sooryavanshi. There have been reports of the actress starring in an action-comedy to be produced by Aanand L Rai and Shah Rukh Khan. But, the movie is not yet officially announced.

Katrina was last seen on the big screen in Bharat which released on Eid this year. The film did a decent business at the box office but wasn’t a blockbuster. Last year, Katrina starred in two big films like Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero, and unfortunately, both the films failed to make a mark at the box office.

Rachel Reeves rules out income tax rise: Report

CHANCELLOR Rachel Reeves does not plan to raise income tax rates in this month’s budget, after borrowing costs rose earlier on reports that she had reversed plans for tax increases.

Reeves is expected to need to raise tens of billions of pounds to meet her fiscal targets, and her recent remark that “we will all have to contribute” had been viewed as a sign that the government might break its main election pledge and increase income tax rates.
