Karan Johar to launch Akhil Akkineni in Bollywood

After launching kids of many stars in Bollywood, Dharma Productions’ head honcho Karan Johar is now planning to launch the son of an immensely popular South Indian star in the Hindi film industry.

Yes, you heard that right! According to reports, Karan Johar is planning to produce a film for megastar Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni. But if you are thinking that it's going to be his first film, then let us inform you that Akhil has already made his acting debut down South.


“Karan Johar wants to introduce Akhil in Hindi cinema. He has asked me twice but I told him that Akhil is very young. He needs some more time,” said Nagarjuna.

Nagarjuna will be seen in Karan Johar’s Brahmastra, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

Actor Daisy May Cooper and comedian Guz Khan have teamed up with sporting stars and online creator Max Fosh for a new campaign designed to build excitement ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026.

Set in a fictional writers' room, the campaign follows the group as they attempt to find the perfect way to explain what hosting a World Cup means. As ideas bounce around the room, Khan recalls his "legendary" backyard cricket exploits while Fosh tries to steer the discussion towards a more meaningful message.
