Kangana Ranaut expresses interest in an action-based movie

Kangana Ranaut is on a roll! Her last release Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019) received praises from various corners. Her upcoming film Mental Hai Kya has already created so much buzz ahead of its release.

She is presently shooting for a sports drama Panga, which gives her an opportunity to work with critically-acclaimed filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Panga will be followed by an upcoming biopic titled Jaya.

The latest we hear that the three-time National award-winning actress has shown interest in an action-based film script. According to reports, there are many filmmakers who were quite impressed with Kangana Ranaut for pulling off action sequences in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi with aplomb and, as a result, the actress has been offered various scripts, including this action-based film.

“Kangana has been offered a lot of scripts post the success of Manikarnika, and she has now liked a script which is an action-based drama. It’s a contemporary action film, which is a fictitious story,” a source tells an Indian daily.

An official confirmation is awaited.
