Kangana Ranaut and controversies go hand-in-hand. On 7th July 2019, the makers of Judgementall Hai Kya had organised an event to launch the new song of the film titled The Wakhra Song. The event clearly didn’t go as planned because Kangana got into a heated argument with a journalist and went on to accuse him that he does a smear campaign against her.
At the event, when the journalist introduced himself and was about to ask a question, Kangana stated, “Tum mere baare mei kitni gandi gandi baatein likhte ho. Jingoistic bolte ho. Itni gandi soch laate kahan se ho? You are bashing my film Manikarnika. Have I made a mistake by making a film? You are calling me a jingoistic person for making a film on nationalism.”
The journalist defended himself by stating, “Kangana, I did not even tweet anything about Manikarnika. You cannot intimidate a journalist because you are in a position of power.”
Kangana further went on to say, “I have given you interviews before. You came to my van to interview me during Manikarnika. You spent at least three hours there and we had lunch together. But things have changed drastically after that. You had messaged me also, so don’t tell me I am trying to intimidate you like a star.”
Well, the journalist cleared that they never had lunch and it wasn’t an interview for three hours. He also stated that he has never messaged her. The actress further said, “I know how you are harming my brand. So, I am not comfortable answering to you. You have been doing a smear campaign on me.” Once again, the journalist denied that he is not doing any smear campaign.
We are sure that the makers of Judgementall Hai Kya didn’t expect such controversy at their event. Also starring Rajkummar Rao, the movie is slated to release on 26th July 2019.
