John Abraham vs Ayushmann Khurrana at the box office

John Abraham starrer Pagalpanti was slated to hit the screens on 8th November 2019. The film was getting a solo release that week. However, John told the makers of Pagalpanti to postpone the release of the film and give 8th November date to Marjaavaan, so the Sidharth Malhotra starrer can get a solo release.

Well, Pagalpanti has been postponed to 22nd November 2019. Director Anees Bazmee took to Twitter to announce the new release date. He tweeted, “Thodi #Pagalpanti aur kar di - Our film now in theaters on 22nd November 2019 ! #Marjaavan Apno ke liye, all for the love of my colleagues ;) @AnilKapoor @TheJohnAbraham @Ileana_Official @ArshadWarsi @PulkitSamrat @kriti_official @saurabhshukla_s @UrvashiRautela.”

While Marjaavaan will get a solo release thanks to John, Pagalpanti will face tough competition at the box office. On 22nd November 2019, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala is also slated to hit the screens. We all know that Ayushmann has been choosing some fantastic scripts and his last few films have done very well at the box office. It makes us wonder if Pagalpanti will be able to make a mark at the box office in front of Bala.

A few days ago, the makers of Bala had also unveiled the teaser of the film which had received a good response. Ayushmann had posted the teaser on Instagram and wrote, “It's time to make some bold, oops bald moves! ??‍?? #BalaTeaser.”

Bala also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. Talking about Pagalpanti, apart from John, the film also features Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda and Urvashi Rautela. Now let’s wait and watch which film will make a mark at the box office on 22nd November 2019.

Interestingly, it was John who had launched Ayushmann in Bollywood with his production venture Vicky Donor in 2012. Now after seven years, the two actors are all set to lock horns at the box office.

UK faces criticism over AI use in migrant age checks

BRITAIN's plan to use artificial intelligence (AI) to assess the ages of asylum seekers has sparked concern among human rights groups, who warn the technology could misclassify children as adults and deny them vital protections.

The government intends to introduce facial age-estimation technology in 2026 to verify the ages of migrants claiming to be under 18, particularly those arriving on small boats from France. Officials say the move will help prevent adults from posing as children to exploit the asylum system.
