Hina Khan bids adieu to Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay

Hina Khan, one of the highest paid actresses on Indian television, has bid adieu to Ekta Kapoor’s popular show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The soap opera, which hit the small screen a couple of months ago, starred the gorgeous actress in the role of lead antagonist Komolika.

Hina Khan is believed to have left the show temporarily because she wants to devote more time to her film career. Khan’s debut film Lines is set for its grand premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this week.

The actress, who became a household name after headlining Ranjan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is psyched up about her first appearance at the red carpet of the high-profile festival, which brings hundreds of artists from all over the world under one roof.

Before Hina Khan heads off to Cannes, the entire cast and crew of Kasautii Zindagii Kay arranged a farewell party for her. Her co-stars Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Pooja Banerjee also attended the party.

We wish Hina Khan all the luck for her debut appearance at Cannes Film Festival.
