Here's everything you want to know about Kapil's new show

After the failure of his film Firangi, ace comedian Kapil Sharma is returning to where he started his career from - television. The comedian was last seen on TV hosting his popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Once the show went off-air after a series of controversies, Kapil's popularity declined too. But now, the comedian has pulled his socks up and ready to begin afresh.

We all know that comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is returning to the small screen. But this time around, he will not be doing what he is known for. Instead of hosting a comedy show, Kapil will turn host for a game show on Sony TV.

Reportedly, his new show is inspired by an American game show, The Hollywood Squares. The idea of the game show revolves around two contestants who indulge in a game to win prizes and cash.

The board for the game is a 3-3 vertical stack of open-faced cubes, which is then taken and occupied by a celebrity guest seating right in front of the desk of each contestant, followed by question and answers. The show was first seen on NBC in 1965, which later went on to become a regular series in 1966.

Well, it will be really interesting to see how Kapil runs the show and whether or not the audience accepts him in his new avatar.
