Fukrey Returns' success prompts makers to plan part 3

Fukrey Returns, starring Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha in lead roles, is doing wonders at the box office. The film, which hit screens last Friday, has already netted over INR 50 crores and is aiming to breach INR 100 crore mark.

If you are a fan of the franchise, then there is good news for you. Thrilled with the outstanding performance of the film at the ticket window, the makers have now decided to roll out its third instalment as soon as possible. Reportedly, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have already given their nod to the next part.

Some reports even claim that the team has already started preparations for Fukrey 3. As far as the cast of the movie is concerned, it will remain the same in its next instalment also.

"They will return to essay the same characters, with the same quirks. While there was a gap of four years between the first two instalments, the third part is likely to hit screens by mid-2019," a source reveals to a tabloid.

Fukrey Returns released on 8th December.
