Fraudster attempts to hack Yami Gautam's Twitter account

Even the savviest users can fall prey to account takeovers anywhere in the world. The latest celebrity who has become victim to multiple hacking attempts is Bollywood diva, Yami Gautam. Reportedly, the Kaabil actress was recently informed by her social media team about some suspicious activities on her social media accounts, especially the micro-blogging site Twitter.

As soon as the actress got to know about several hacking attempts, she took the matter to the authorities. We hear that the break-ins have happened on her personal Twitter page through various devices at different hours of the day.


The actress has filed a report with the cyber cell who are currently investigating the activities.

On the work front, Gautam is currently shooting for the social-drama film Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film also stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in important roles.

Pop star Charli XCX has said she feared her label might drop her over her chart-topping Brat album. Album came out June 2024 and no one expected much. But it blew up and the whole year was basically Brat season. “I actually made this record being like, ‘OK, I’m just going to do this one for me. Maybe I’m going to get dropped by my label and that’s fine’,” she told Paltrow.
