Five lesser known facts about 'Dhadak' girl Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor is now a well-known name in Bollywood. Daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi, she debuted in the movie Dhadak. As she celebrates her birthday today, March 6, we bring you some lesser known facts about the gorgeous starlet:

She rejected a movie alongside south superstar Mahesh Babu: Reportedly, Janhvi was offered a Telugu movie directed by AR Murugadoss alongside Mahesh Babu for her big debut, but she declined it. However, Janhvi said she wasn't entirely ready at the time and wanted to be fully prepared before she came in front of the camera.


Alleged relationships: There have been rumours that Janhvi is dating Akshat Ranjan, who is the son of one of India’s biggest construction giants. They have been spotted together at various places and Akshat has been spotted with Janhvi's entire family at movie screenings. This led to a lot of speculations. Janhvi was also rumoured to be in a relationship with Shikhar Pahariya, the grandson of former union minister Kumar Shinde. In 2016, a few kissing pictures of Janhvi with Shikhar went viral on social media.

Her studies: Janhvi completed her education before debuting. She is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Los Angeles, USA.

Sridevi didn't want Janhvi to be an actress: The late Sridevi never wanted Janhvi to opt for acting. Janhvi's mother wanted her to take up medical profession. In fact, she also said that she would prefer getting her married than seeing her acting. However, Janhvi had always nurtured the dream of being an actress and finally, Sridevi came around with her decision.

Her wanderlust: Janhvi loves travelling. She is very passionate about exploring different places around the globe, and exotic locations top her list of places to visit.

Emily Cooper’s long journey is approaching its final destination

Netflix has confirmed that Emily in Paris will end with its upcoming sixth season, bringing one of the platform’s most recognisable romantic comedy series to a close after six years.

The announcement was accompanied by a message from series creator Darren Star, who thanked viewers for joining the journey and said the show had become part of audiences’ lives, travel dreams and affection for Paris.
