Farah to commence her next project without SRK

Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are one of the most successful director-actor duos in Bollywood. Apart from sharing a healthy work relationship, both share great friendship. Their friendship dates back to the time when both were busy establishing themselves in Bollywood.

When Farah decided to venture into direction, she could not think of any other actor than Shah Rukh Khan for her directorial debut Main Hoon Na. Their first film went on to become super-hit and both collaborated again for Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year, which emerged victorious, too.

Farah, who is currently hosting a show on Star Plus, wanted to cast SRK in her next project also, but due to a chock-a-bloc schedule of the superstar, she could not get a go-ahead from him.

Now, we hear that the choreographer-turned-filmmaker has decided to make her next directorial without her favourite actor. Reportedly, she is planning to tweak her script a little bit and cast a younger actor to play the male lead.

A source reveals to an Indian daily, “Farah has been busy with her TV shows of late, and hence has not been disturbed by her work schedule. But once her show is over, she wants to start her film and hence has decided to look beyond Shah Rukh for the film. She had done it earlier with Tees Maar Khan but failed because the film with Akshay Kumar flopped badly. This time she wants a younger actor in the film.”

We wish all the very best to Farah for her next venture.
