Fan Club Of The Week - Surbhi Chan­dna

RISING television star Surbhi Chan­dna has shown off her impressive range as an actress with acclaimed performances, including in hit dra­ma serial Ishqbaaaz. She has won admirers along the way including five friends from different countries. Together they run a fan club dedi­cated to her. Eastern Eye caught up with them to find out more...

What made you set up the fan club?


Well, we were watching Ishqbaaaz and fangirling over her when we noticed she had fan clubs but they were not running properly. Out of love for Surbhi Chandna, we opened a fan club to appreciate her and the work she does. Also to be by her side always as her wall!

Tell us about your fan club?

Our fan club is all about Surbhi, her work and everything else about her. We try to keep fans updated so that people can feel more connected to her. This is another interpretation of love we have for Surbhi.

What has been your most memora­ble moment?

There are so many precious moments for us. Whenever Surbhi gets ap­preciation, we feel happy. The icing on the cake were all those moments whenever she liked our posts or tweets. We felt so special when we made a fan video for her and she loved our work. That will always be a cherished memory.

What is the best thing that you like about Surbhi?

The best thing about Surbhi is that she is so talented. She is also so de­voted and so humble in dealing with her fans. She loves the appreciation and criticism we share, and also is vocal about it. She never forgets to remember her fans and gives credit to all the people who she is connect­ed to. She is genuine and down-to-earth. Overall, she is love.

What is your favourite work Surbhi has done?

Our favourite work of Surbhi is of course Ishqbaaaz because we got her through this and since made her our own.

Can you tell us an interesting fact about her?

The love for food Surbhi has and how much she is so crazy about it is our favourite. It makes us feel so connected to her.

What is your definition of a true fan?

A true fan supports the one they ad­mire through thick and thin. The one who screams their heart out at every success achieved by the idol! A true fan is supporting their favourite through highs and lows. True fans stay loyally by the side of who they admire and keep encouraging them. A true fans supports their fa­vourite and respects everyone. They love everyone their favourite loves.
