Composer duo Sachet & Parampara talk about their song Rararara from Tanhaji

The trailer of Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was released yesterday. It’s a visual treat and each and every actor is simply outstanding in it. One thing that impressed everyone is the song that is played in the background of the trailer and the chorus Rararara is quite haunting.

Well, the song is composed by the composer duo Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur. The two had also composed songs, Bekhayali and Mere Sohneya, in Kabir Singh. Well, the full song Rararara is not yet released, but in the trailer itself, the track has received a good response.

While talking about the song and the response it has received, Parampara said, “Rararara is a war cry. We have been having very limited numbers of a war cry. This song has a motivational essence to it too.  So given a chance, we had a brilliant time composing the track for Tanhaji and our favourite Ajay Devgn Sir. The song has shaped up brilliantly in the trailer. People are tweeting and commenting a lot about the song that is playing at the back throughout the trailer.”

“Really very happy to see the response. People can expect more madness. Hoping that this haunting melody will stay with them forever. This song was very challenging yet exciting. We discovered a new dimension altogether in music. The excitement level is quite high. People have been expecting what new we'll come up with after Bekhayali, Mere Sohneya, and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Here's Rararara (title not fixed yet) for them. The entire song is based on an Indian classical Raag packed in the all-new flavor of contemporary music,” added Sachet.

Directed by Om Raut, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is slated to release on 10th January 2019.
