Days after Emmy award-winning TV host and comedian Trevor Noah wrapped up his Off The Record Tour in India, now Jimmy Carr is set to perform in the country as part of his upcoming Terribly Funny show world tour.

The British comedian has announced his India tour for January next year. This will be his first tour in India.


On Friday, Carr took to his Instagram to share tour dates in India. He will be performing in three cities in India.

Jimmy Carr's announcement came as a surprise to fans.

The British comedian took to Instagram and shared a picture of the tour dates for his Terribly Funny show in India.

The tour will take place in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore on January 19, 20 and 21 respectively.

In the caption, he shared, "Very excited to announce my first-ever tour dates in India! I’ll be bringing the Terribly Funny tour to New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore in January 2024. Tickets are on sale now at JIMMYCARR.COM"

Reacting to his post, many fans expressed their surprise and excitement at the same time.

Jimmy Carr, 51, is a comedian well known for his deadpan style of delivery of controversial one-liners.

He began his comedy career in 1997, and he has regularly appeared on television as the host of Channel 4 panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.

According to Carr’s official website, Terribly Funny show contains “jokes about all kinds of terrible things that might have affected you or people you know and love”.
