Bala trailer: Bhumi Pednekar steals the show with her act here

Amar Kaushik’s Bala starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Yami Gautam is one of the most awaited films of the year. Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of a guy having an issue of pre-mature balding. The makers have released the trailer of the film today.

Ayushmann took to Twitter to share the trailer with his fans. He tweeted, “Baal kaisa hai janaab ka? Trailer dekho aur batao, kya khayaal hai aapka!? #Bala trailer out now! https://bit.ly/BalaTrailer #DineshVijan @amarkaushik @bhumipednekar @yamigautam @saurabhshukla_s @jaavedjaaferi #SeemaPahwa @nowitsabhi @SachinJigarLive.”

The trailer is decent and has a couple of scenes that would make you laugh out loud. Of course, it concentrates on Ayushmann’s character and his struggle to find love. However, it is Bhumi’s character that grabs our attention the most.

Bhumi plays the role of a girl with dark skin and as we know Indians are obsessed with fair skin and mostly every guy wants a girl who is fair and not dark. Well, Bhumi just has around two to three scenes in the trailer, but the way she has carried her character that impresses us a lot. After watching the trailer, you would be more interested in knowing about Bhumi’s character than Bala. Yami Gautam also leaves a mark with her sweet presence and Ayushmann, like his every film, is top-notch in the trailer.

Bala was slated to release on 15th November 2019. However, the makers decided to change the release date. Now, the film will be hitting the screens on 7th November 2019. Well, on 8th November 2019, Sunny Singh starrer Ujda Chaman is slated to hit the screens. Both movies have a similar concept of a young guy turning bald. Well, it will be interesting to see which film will win the box office race.

NHS ranks among worst for treatable deaths despite £242 billion spending

  • UK ranks among worst for treatable mortality, ahead of only US in global analysis.
  • NHS spending has reached £242 billion, but infrastructure gaps persist.
  • Shortage of scanners, beds and delays in care continue to affect outcomes.

The NHS is facing renewed scrutiny after a major international analysis suggested that UK patient survival rates remain among the weakest in developed healthcare systems, despite record levels of spending.

The report, led by the Institute for Public Policy Research, found that the UK ranks near the bottom among 22 countries for treatable mortality, a measure of deaths that could potentially be avoided with timely and effective care. Only the US performed worse.
