Ayushmann Khurrana gets featured in Time's 100 most influential people list

Ayushmann Khurrana kickstarted his Bollywood career in the year 2012 with the film Vicky Donor. In these eight years, he has starred in many amazing movies like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Andhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Article 15, and more. He has won many awards including a National Award for his performance in Andhadhun.

And now, Ayushmann has made a mark globally. The actor has featured in Time's 100 most influential people list of 2020. He is among the five Indians who have featured on this list. Others are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, London-based Indian-origin doctor Ravindra Gupta, and Bilkis - Dadi of Shaheen Bagh.


Ayushmann took to Instagram to inform everyone about it. He posted, “TIME's list of the 100 Most Influential People in the world is out, I'm honored to be a part of this group: time.com/time100 @TIME #TIME100.”

In a statement, the actor has said, “I’m truly humbled with the recognition that TIME has bestowed on me. As an artiste, I have only looked to contribute towards bringing a positive change in society through cinema and this moment is a huge validation of my belief system and my journey. I have always believed that cinema has the power to bring about change by triggering the right conversations among people and society. Hopefully, through my content choices, I have been able to contribute towards my country and countrymen.”

Talking about his upcoming movies, Ayushmann currently has two films lined up. He will be seen in Anubhav Sinha’s next and Abhishek Kapoor’s next.

The Walt Disney Company has agreed to pay £7.4m ($10m) to settle claims that it violated children's privacy laws by improperly labelling YouTube videos as made for children, allowing targeted advertising and data collection without parental permission.

The settlement with the US Federal Trade Commission, initially announced in September, was formalised by a federal court order on Tuesday.
