Arjun Bijlani signed to host Colors’ Dance Deewane

A couple of days ago, we had reported a story about evergreen actress Madhuri Dixit making her comeback on the small screen as a judge on Colors' upcoming dance reality show, Dance Deewane. Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame director Shashank Khaitan and choreographer Tushar Kalia are also onboard to judge the show. The latest update is that television star Arjun Bijlani has been roped in to host the dance reality show.

Confirming the news, Bijlani, who plays the male lead in Colors’ Ishq Mein Marjawan, reveals, “While acting has been a passion, anchoring is something that I have always wanted to do. I have finally got the opportunity and I couldn’t be happier.”

He adds that while hosting a show, establishing the connect and making the audience and contestants comfortable are of utmost importance. “The most important thing to keep in mind while hosting is the connect you need to establish with not only the audience but also the contestants. Making them feel comfortable is paramount."

Bijlani says that improvisation comes naturally to me and he will use this talent skilfully while hosting. "As an actor, improvisation comes naturally to me. So, that is a strength I hope to play on while I host. In the past, I’ve been on the other side as a contestant, but this time, there’s a lot more excitement since I get to be the one holding the show together.”

We wish all the best to the actor.
