Ankita Lokhande in talks for an action entertainer

Ankita Lokhande, who used to be one of the leading faces on Indian television once, recently made her silver screen debut with ZEE Studios’ historical drama, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi (2019). Though the actress was not in the lead role in the movie as it was led by Kangana Ranaut, she did full justice to her character of Jhalkari Bai and stood out in the ensemble cast.

After the success of Manikarnika, Lokhande was offered several films. But the actress, who admits to being quite a choosy when it comes to work, did not sign any of them. However, if the latest reports are to be believed, the actress seems to have finally found the project that she would love to work on next.


According to reports, Ankita Lokhande is about to lock her second Bollywood film soon. It will be an out-and-out action entertainer. In many of her previous interviews, the talented has expressed her desire of starring in a high-octane action film. Looks like her prayers have been heard.

Reportedly, the actress has liked the script of the new film. However, she is yet to sign it on the dotted line.
