Alia Bhatt’s RRR shoot to get delayed due to Gangubai Kathiawadi?

Murtuza Iqbal

Alia Bhatt was all set to start shooting for SS Rajamouli’s RRR this month. However, it is said that the actress’ shooting schedule for the film will be delayed due to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Alia plays the titular role in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial and currently, the film is being shot in Film City, Mumbai. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the current schedule of Gangubai Kathiawadi was supposed to be wrapped up by the end of October, but the schedule has been extended by two weeks.

A source told the entertainment portal, “Very clearly Bhansali wants to wrap up the shooting as soon as possible. He has extended the current schedule by two weeks so that most of the shooting for Gangubai would be over. After this schedule, there’s one more schedule, and then the film will be complete.”

So, the extension of Gangubai Kathiawadi’s shoot might be a hurdle for Alia’s RRR schedule.

Well, Alia is surely one of the busiest actresses of Bollywood. Apart from Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR, she also has Brahmastra in her kitty. There have been reports that she will also be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s production venture Darlings. However, the film is yet to be officially announced.

Alia also has Takht in her kitty, but it is said that Karan Johar’s directorial has been delayed indefinitely.
