Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha postpone their wedding due to coronavirus

A few weeks ago, it was announced that Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are all set to tie the knot soon. The two actors were planning for official registration in the last week of April, followed by wedding celebrations.

Ali and Richa’s spokesperson had stated, “Currently, only the date for the registration has been taken. By process, the window that is valid is for 3 months from the date that has been allotted. The couple is working towards an official registration in the last week of April post which the celebrations will follow. All we can say at the moment is that it’s a happy occasion and all the parties involved are elated.”

However, Ali and Richa have decided to postpone their wedding because of the coronavirus. The spokesperson of the actors stated, “Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the latter half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families, and well-wishers to be affected.”

Well, not just Ali and Richa, reportedly, even Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding has been affected because of the coronavirus. There were reports that the two will be tying the knot in May this year. But, it is said that their wedding plans have also been pushed.
