Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb to get a theatrical release in a few countries

Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb was slated to release on Eid this year. However, the film was postponed due to the pandemic and later the makers decided to release it on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar.

A few days ago, the makers had announced that the movie will premiere on Diwali (9th November 2020). While in India it will release on Disney+ Hotstar, the movie will get a theatrical release in a few countries. Fox Star Hindi took to Instagram to inform everyone that Laxmmi Bomb will release in theatres in Australia, New Zealand, and UAE.

We are sure fans of Akshay Kumar in Australia, New Zealand, and UAE would be quite happy to know that they will get to watch the movie on the big screen.

Directed by Raghava Lawrence, Laxmmi Bomb also stars Kiara Advani. The film is a remake of Tamil movie Muni 2: Kanchana which was also helmed by Lawrence.

Apart from Laxmmi Bomb, Akshay Kumar has films like Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Raksha Bandhan in his kitty.

Union claims ‘brazen retaliation’

Rockstar Games is facing allegations of union busting after reportedly dismissing dozens of staff believed to have been involved in a private workplace-organising chat. According to a Bloomberg report, between 30 and 40 employees across the UK and Canada were let go on 30 October, all linked to a Discord group used to discuss union issues.

The Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) union said some of those affected were members, while others were attempting to organise. In a post on Bluesky, IWGB called the move “the most ruthless act of union busting in the history of the UK games industry”, saying it would fight for the workers to be reinstated.
