Aamir Khan, who was last seen in Yash Raj Films' Thugs Of Hindostan (2018) is currently busy preparing for his next film Lal Singh Chaddha which happens to be an official remake of the Tom Hank starrer Hollywood biggie Forrest Gump (1994). In addition to Lal Singh Chaddha, Mr. Perfectionist has also given his nod to co-produce and star in the much-awaited Gulshan Kumar biopic titled Mogul.

However, if the latest report is to be believed, Khan might squeeze some time out to accommodate another film in between Lal Singh Chaddha and Mogul. Yes, you heard it absolutely right! Aamir Khan is rumoured to have given his nod to headline the Hindi remake of Tamily hit Vikram Vadhan (2017).

Buzz has it that Khan will play the role of a gangster in the film, the same role which talented actor Vijay Sethupathi essayed in the original film, while Saif Ali Khan is expected to play the role of a cop, originally played by R Madhavan.

A source in the know informs a popular tabloid, “The film has been scheduled to go on the floors in April next year. Both Aamir, who kicks off Lal Singh Chaddha on November 1, and Saif, whose Jawaani Jaaneman and Tandav (webseries) are in the pipeline, are expected to finish their respective commitments by then. Considering the film does not require any specific preparation, the makers are planning to complete the shooting in two-three months. The recce for the film is likely to begin in January in Lucknow and Hyderabad.”

It will be directed by Advait Chandan who made his directorial debut with Secret Superstar (2017), featuring Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan in important roles.
