Aamir Khan introduces new singer Meghna Mishra!

Aamir Khan never shies away from working with fresh talent. The actor, who has spent over thirty years in Bollywood, has time and again introduced several new faces in the industry. He had earlier promised that he would be introducing the audience to various hidden talents aka secret superstars during the promotional journey of his forthcoming film Secret Superstar.

Keeping his promise, Mr Perfectionist introduced singer Meghna Mishra at Main Kaun Hoon song launch event which took place earlier today in Mumbai. Besides Aamir and Meghna, director Advait Chandan, music director Amit Trivedi, lyricist Kausar Munir and Zee music company's Business head Anurag Bedi were in attendance at the event.


While introducing Meghna to the media, Aamir said, "As I had promised there will be a lot of Secret Superstar, I would like to introduce the first secret superstar. Meghna is 15 years old and we needed a singer who would lend her voice to Zaira's character. We needed a voice and we thank God we got her. The film was heavily depended on her. And the best way for me to make you introduce to her is to make to listen to her voice. I sincerely believe that Meghna is one of the biggest singing stars our industry will see in coming years".

Meghna begins her journey in the Hindi film industry as a playback singer with the song, Main Kaun Hoon, which has received an overwhelming response within hours of release.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao in association with Zee Studios, and Akash Chawla, Secret Superstar is written and directed by Advait Chandan. It hits screens on 19th October 2017.
