Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani to reteam for Mogul?

As we all know that superstar Aamir Khan, who was associated with the much-talked-about project Mogul in the capacity of a co-producer, had recently walked out of the movie when a woman levelled sexual harassment charges against its director Subhash Kapoor.

As soon as the incident hit the headlines, Kapoor was shown the door by producer Bhushan Kumar. After sacking Kapoor, Kumar had several meetings with Aamir Khan and convinced him to return to the project, to which the latter agreed.

Though Khan has, reportedly, returned to co-produce Mogul, the makers are yet to find a director who can do full justice to the ambitious project. From what we hear, Bhushan Kumar has approached hit filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani to direct the movie.

“Mr Hirani read the script and loved it. He is contemplating it. Aamir has also told him to think about it. Since they both share a great rapport, there is a possibility that he will step into the director’s shoes. But as of now, nothing is confirmed,” an entertainment portal reports.

Mogul is a biopic based on the life of T-Series founder and music baron Gulshan Kumar. The film is scheduled to release around Christmas 2019.
