A new release date for Sushant Singh Rajput-Sara Ali Khan’s Kedarnath

After facing a series of hurdles, Abhishek Kapoor's keenly-anticipated film Kedarnath is finally back on track. The second schedule of the romantic movie is set to roll soon. But before the team begins the second schedule, director Abhishek Kapoor on Tuesday morning announced the new release date of the film. "We clean up pretty nice. November 30 it is. Save the date, everyone. Jai Bholenath," read his tweet. The film was earlier scheduled to enter theatres on 21st December.

Kedarnath stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. The film marks the acting debut of Sara who is also doing Rohit Shetty's action romcom Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh.

Earlier, Kedarnath was being produced by Abhishek Kapoor and Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor. However, the makers had a fall out during the first schedule of the film, leaving Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor with no choice except opting out of it.

Now, Kedarnath is being co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor's banner Guy In The Sky Pictures and Ronnie Screwvala's production house RSVP.
