In these trying times when most of us are cooped up inside our homes due to the COVID-19 restrictions, doctors, nurses and hospital staff are working tirelessly to treat Coronavirus patients and spread awareness about the pandemic. But still there are hundreds of people who, instead of co-operating with these frontline heroes, are attacking and pelting stones on them.
Popular actress Nimrat Kaur, who has been receiving great appreciation for her consolidated efforts to raise awareness about COVID-19, says that there is a need to remove the stigma around frontline workers, including doctors, nurses and hospital staff.

“Without them, the world would be 100 percent paralysed. I do not imagine a world moving forward without any single person who is involved in any kind of essential service,” says the talented actress.
Apart from the medical professionals, Nimrat Kaur is also all praises for people involved in supply chains. “Truck drivers and people who are ferrying goods, grocery stores — every person in this chain of existence is the reason we are surviving. I do not think words can do any justice to the work they are doing,” she adds.

The actor, who has proved her mettle in Bollywood as well as Hollywood, has also praised the journalists reporting on the issue. “From news presenters, reporters on the ground, to the person handling the camera — anyone who is giving this new normal some sort of connection for us,” she says in conclusion.
