6 Reason Why Black is the colour of Fashion

1] It can be paired with any colour.

If you like mixing and matching your outfits, black surely is the perfect colour for you. It comes as a saviour when you need something to match with any random colour. And boy, it does look a class apart.

2] Accessorising with black is the easiest and coolest thing to do

Of course, styling isn’t just about the clothes. Accessories also add the extra spark to your look. Now getting a matching accessory can be really difficult, but don your look with a black accessory and you are ready to go!

3]  It can be layered up effortlessly

While it could be confusing whether you can layer up solids and prints together (especially if you have zero fashion knowledge), with black to your rescue you really don’t have to rack your head much.

4] It is the quickest wardrobe solution whenever you are in doubt

Want to go casual yet want to look dressed up? Just pick out your blacks. Be it a date or a casual hang-out with friends, or a boardroom presentation, they will never let you down. Instead, it just takes your appeal a notch higher.

5] You can wear black any time of the year. It is so not seasonal

While colours like yellow, green or orange might be termed as “summery” and look pretty much suited for the light weather, black remains permanent. It can look great any time of the year.

6] It makes you look classy and sophisticated always

Well, you got to try it and experience it for yourself.  Shift your style to an all-black look, and see how your fashion-level upgrades instantly.

Highlights

  • Yash says he humanised Ravana to help global audiences relate to the character.
  • Asura designs in the first glimpse drew criticism for looking too Western-inspired.
  • Producer Namit Malhotra compares the film's tone to Lord of the Rings and Gladiator.
Yash, who plays the demon king Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, says his portrayal was shaped by one clear goal: making the character relatable beyond Indian audiences.
Speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week, where the film was presented alongside major Hollywood releases, the actor said he worked to strip away the purely mythological reading of the role.

"I have tried to internalise the whole essence of Ravana and tried to make him as human as possible at times," Yash told Reuters.

"It is important for people to relate to him, and since we have global ambitions, we need to make it familiar to a Western audience as well."
