Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar of Bollywood, completes 50 years in the industry today. His first movie, Saat Hindustani, released on 7 November 1969 and received National Awards in the category of Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration and for Best Lyrics.

In these 50 years, Big B has done some amazing movies like Anand, Zanjeer, Namak Haraam, Deewaar, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Don, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Dostana, Silsila, Satte Pe Satta, Sharaabi, Mard, Shahenshah, Agneepath, Hum, Khuda Gawah, Mohabbatein, Aks, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Black, Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar, Paa, Piku, Pink, Badla, and more…


The megastar’s son and actor, Abhishek Bachchan took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post as his father completed 50 years in the industry. He wrote, “Not just as a son, but as an actor and a fan... We are all blessed to witness greatness! There is so much to admire, to learn and even more to appreciate. Several generations of cinema lovers get to say we lived in the times of BACHCHAN!!! Congratulations Pa on completing 50 years in the Film industry. We now await the next 50! Love you. #50yrsofSaatHindustaani #50yrsofBachchan #GiveItUpForBachchan.”

Well, even at the age of 77, Amitabh Bachchan is very active and has many films in his kitty like Jhund, Uyarndha Manithan, Brahmastra, Chehre, and Gulabo Sitabo.

Talking about Abhishek’s movies, he will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s next. The actor also has a movie titled The Big Bull in his kitty. Abhishek will be making his digital debut with Amazon Prime’s Breathe 2.
