  1. Aamir Khan’s cricket bat

Lagaan was a super hit film and it received critical acclaim and awards at international film festivals, as well as won many Indian film awards. Along with the film the bat used by Aamir Khan in Lagaan also gain fame. The bat was later signed by Aamir Khan and it was auctioned at Rs. 1, 56, 000. The money was donated to a charitable cause.

2. Madhuri Dixit’s Lehenga


Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas was certainly a super hit, but the Lehenga worn by Madhuri Dixit grabbed equal attention. The Lehenga that was featured in the song Maar Dala from that film was later auctioned and was sold for Rs. 3 Crore.

3. Shammi Kapoor’s jacket

Shammi Kapoor's who was considered as the style icon back then and everything he wears becomes a style statement and the jacket worn by Shammi Kapoor in Junglee was loved by every ardent fan of his. It was at the Osian's Cinefan auction in 2012, when Aamir Khan bid on that jacket and it was sold for Rs 88,000.

4. Priyanka Chopra's heels

Priyanka Chopra is obsessed with shoes and she owns a number of pairs then we can imagine and one of her super stylish pink Christian Louboutin heels were auctioned for 2.5 Lakhs for UNICEF’s “Save the girl campaign” in 2013.

5. Salman Khan’s towel

Salman Khan’s iconic dance step in the song Jeene Ke Hain Char Din from the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi became quite popular back then and the towel he used in that song became a sensation overnight. So an online portal cashed in on this and chose to bid for the towel. The towel was ultimately sold for Rs 1,42,000. The funds were raised for an NGO called, Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action.

The theatre was packed for the Third Shanghai–London Screen Industry Forum. Between panels and workshops, filmmakers, producers and executives discussed ideas and business cards and it felt more than just a summit. British-Asian filmmakers were meeting and greeting the Chinese industry in an attempt to explore genuine possibilities of working in China’s film market.
